Netherlands Hosting: Data Centers in Netherlands
hostsailor.com NL (NZS)
uses -NEN Certified- private data centers that are powered by a darkfiber ring throughout Amsterdam. This ring pops at Globalswitch, Equinix AM7, and Equinix AM5. From there, the datacenters are securely connected to our hostsailor.com servers.
We have about 1Tbit+ of Internet capacity in Netherlands, our routers are connected with two 10G ports, which are redundant, but in active mode configured as one 20G LAG. We use HP/H3C core switches in Netherlands, our racks are connected with 20G; and our dedicated servers/vps are placed on those switches.

HostSailor now has its latest data center setup in Amsterdam. The data center is fully equipped to easily house and maintain your IT infrastructure. There is a parking space on our premises where there are always enough free parking spaces, so that you can maintain your servers at any time. There is a loading bay available which you can use for loading and unloading large amounts of equipment. The entire building is barrier-free and there are trolleys at your disposal to easily move your equipment and tools. In addition, there is a customer room and a staging room where you can sit down and work. You can reserve the meeting room online.
Data center Amsterdam is equipped with multiple security features and meets the highest standards of security certification. The site is secured with fencing which incorporates a power fence and multiple gates. The gates provide access to the site using an access badge or access code. There is also 24/7 CCTV camera surveillance. A circle lock is located between the reception area and the data floors and checks the number of persons and the presence of any goods. This circle lock admits no more than one person at a time to the data center’s “secured area". Authentication in the circle lock is performed by means of an access badge in combination with fingerprint recognition. This method of authentication is also used for accessing the data rooms; they too can only be entered with an access badge in combination with fingerprint recognition.
All the data floors and technical areas are fitted with a redundant Very Early Smoke Detection Alarms (VESDA) system, which detects dust and soot particles. In the unlikely event of a fire, a gas extinguishing system will lower the oxygen concentration to a level that ensures the fire is quickly put out. The system uses Argonite: a mixture of Argon and nitrogen. This mixture of gases is stored under high pressure and is automatically released into the area in the event of fire. Unlike a water-based extinguishing system, this method of fire control does not damage your equipment.
